Our rooftop bar and terrace looks out across the spires of Oxford. Long lunches, golden hours, and a rum and whisky list worth staying for.

A name with a past
Treadwell Passage was once a bustling — and somewhat notorious — corner of the city, branded “one of Oxford’s greatest nuisances” in 1851, long before Boswell’s department store opened its doors in 1912. We took the name, and kept the good bits.

Set Menu
Two courses £26.50, three for £31.50. Monday to Saturday, 12–3 and 5.30–6.30.
Sunday Roast
Slow-roasted joints, duck-fat potatoes, greens, Yorkshires and gravy. 12.30–3pm.
Rooftop
Drinks and small plates above the city, with a view over the spires. Thursday to Sunday.
Private Hire
A corner, a floor, or the whole rooftop — hosted from beginning to end.

The full works, with a bottomless coffee. From 12.30pm, every Sunday.
Golden hour on the roof
Two-for-one house pours on the terrace, 5–7pm, as the sun goes down.
